Do you still remember the excitement of watching zebrafish embryos develop under the microscope? And are you passionate about developmental biology? Then this is your chance to pass on that enthusiasm to other students!

Coming November and December, the course Molecular Principles of Development (NWI-BB084B) will run again for a new cohort of students, and we need your help to make it a success!

🧪 What will you be doing?
You’ll assist during two zebrafish observation practicals and three computer practicals. There will be an instruction session (date to be determined), and you'll be needed on the following afternoons (approximately from 13:30-17:15):

  • Thursday 20 November
  • Friday 21 November
  • Thursday 27 November
  • Thursday 4 December
  • Thursday 11 December

Note that if you are a non-EU student, you will need a work permit. It can take up to 6 weeks to file all the paperwork, so keep that in mind when applying for a job as a teaching assistant, as well as that you are allowed to work a maximum of 16 hours per week. 

Additionally, note that you need to be in the Netherlands to work as a student assistant.
