B-ware: Ecology - Effects of N- deposition and restoration measures on mushrooms

I researched if stone flower and Dolokal had a posotive effect on mushrooms by establishing if the restoration measures increased the number of mycorrhiza and litter decomposing mushrooms. I also looked if the measures had an effect on root tip inoculation by mycorrhiza and if the internal nutrient concentration of the mushrooms were altered by the restoration measures.

Learned techniques 
My internship taught me that I don't know everything and it is helpfull to ask a lot of questions. Also that just because something isn't significant, doesn't mean the result has no meaning. It also taught me to not stress over things and it taught me a lot about myself. 

Tips 
Don't be to hard on yourself if things don't turn out how you hoped and if things take longer than they should. Don't be afraid to come to your advisor with troubles you are having. And remember that this is a learning experience, so don't expect to be perfect. When you can't find an interesting internship, ask your professors if they know of any, and start looking for one early.
