Support
Are you struggling with something, or do you need someone to talk to? There are several support options available to you. We're glad you found your way to this page, and we understand that reaching out isn't always easy. Many students hesitate to reach out because they feel their concerns aren’t ‘serious enough’, don’t know who to contact or do not want to ‘bother others’ with their struggles. But if something is bothering you, no matter how big or small it may seem, it’s always valid. Talking to someone can help you process whatever you’re going through; you don’t have to face it alone. Below, we've listed some support options you can turn to. Please reach out in the way that feels right for you.
University support
Want to know more about social safety at Radboud University, or explore what support the university itself offers? You can find more information on Radboud University's official page on social safety. If you want an overview of who to contact for what, click here.
Confidential contact persons
If you experience bullying, intimidation, misconduct, or anything else that makes you feel uneasy, a CCP can be your first point of contact. They’re fellow students who are there to listen and support you, and can help guide you toward next steps, always based on what you’re comfortable with. All CCPs complete a certified training on social safety, so you can be assured they’re prepared to handle sensitive situations with care and discretion. At the bottom of the page, you can get to know our CCPs or contact them immediately via the emails below:
If you have a complaint about one of the confidants, you can send an email to olympus@science.ru.nl
Anonymous chat
We’re working on setting up an anonymous chat function on this page. The idea is to provide you with a way to report unwanted behaviour without sharing your identity, while still allowing you to have a conversation with one of our Confidential Contact Persons (CCPs). Right now, we haven’t yet found a tool that allows for back-and-forth anonymous messaging in a safe and secure way.
At the moment, the anonymous report tool we use only allows one-way messages. This means that if your report is unclear or lacks specific information, e.g. whether you want us to talk to the person involved, to the board or do nothing unless multiple reports have been made, we have no way to follow up or ask for your permission. We are only allowed to take action with your explicit consent. This limitation may prevent us from offering the support you need and from taking any steps to address the situation.
That’s why, if you feel safe enough, we strongly encourage you to contact us directly by email. All contact is confidential, and we will never take any steps without discussing them with you first. The anonymous report tool is still an option if email feels too difficult, but please know it comes with limitations that might affect how much we can help.
We're doing our best to make BeeVee a safer space for everyone, and we appreciate your trust in reaching out.

Jesse te Wierik
Hi hi, I’m Jesse te Wierik, I’m 24 years old and follow the human biology tract. I consider myself as a quite active student, I’m active at BeeVee, AKKU and FEL. I enjoy sports very much, I do a sport called survivalrunning at FEL and do tennis or fitness at the RSC. I like making things out of wood and I also play guitar and I’m trying to learn to play keyboard. (This is my attempt at introducing myself with limited words)
I want to become a confidential person because I want to support people. If you just want to vent about certain things in life, or need guidance in case of social misconduct, I want to try to make BeeVee as an associaton just a little bit nicer. If you would like my help you can contact me jesse.confidential@science.ru.nl, or you can hit me up if you see me walking around!
See you around!
Vincent Roes
Hello there! I’m Vincent.
Finding balance in life is important to me, whether it's through my studies in Neurobiology, making music, or staying active. I've been singing for nearly 20 years; started in a choir and simultaneously continued as a vocalist, while also pursuing my passion for sports - cycling, squash, and basketball. Physical activity and music are more than just a hobby; they're an outlet that supports my mental well-being.
As a former member of PRAC, I'm now here to support you as a confidentiality contact person. Whether you’re facing stress, personal challenges, or just need someone to talk to, I'll be a good listener. I may not have the answer, but together we can work towards a solution—everything we discuss stays between us. So tell me, what can I do for you? You can reach me at vincent.confidential@science.ru.nl!
Ella Jansma
Hello, I'm Ella (she/her),
I am currently a second-year biologist. I’m working to balance my studies, social life, and mental well-being. I try to achieve this through activities such as bouldering, gaming with friends, enjoying nature, or simply relaxing with a hot shower, a cozy Netflix show, and some comfort food.
I am a member of ATP 💙 and a confidential person for Beevee. I'm here to listen openly to anything you may be grappling with, no matter how big or small it might seem. Whether you're seeking solutions or just need someone to listen and offer support, I'm always available. Rest assured, everything we discuss will remain confidential. Remember, you are never alone, we are here for you❤. You can reach me at ella.confidential@science.ru.nl!
