Hello little woodpeckers!! We are your intro mentors for this lovely intro-week Roel, Jasmijn and Ace. We will show you around Nijmegen and help you spread your wings! 

First up is our very own local member Jasmijn!!

Hey everyone!! My name is Jasmijn and I will be starting my second year of Biology. I am currently 18 years old and have lived in this amazing, wonderful, beautiful city called Nijmegen for all of those years. In my free time I like to hang out with my friends, attend and organise activities for our lovely study association BeeVee, make music, and do different kinds of sports. Apart from that I work in a restaurant in the city centre as a waitress and barista. I’m really looking forward to meeting you all and I hope you will enjoy Biology and the intro week as much as I do!

Then we have our oldest (but not wisest) member Roel!!

Hi everyone, my name is Roel, and this intro I’ll be 21 years old. Next year I’ll be in my second year of biology and I’m really looking forward to helping you start your first year! I’m from a small city in zeeland (the old one in the south of the Netherlands), but I really like living here too. When the time to study is done I like to work, travel and spend time with my friends. I look forward to meeting you all in the summer, see you then!

Last but not least our Brabander Ace!!

Hello amazing woodpeckers! My name is Ace, I’m 19 years old and will be a second year biologist after the summer break. I’m from a small town called veghel, which is near Eindhoven. But not to worry I have moved around so many times that I have seen a lot of Brabant. I’m a very active member of our study association BeeVee, since I’m apart of two super fun committees called BOS and FYC. In my free time I like to hang out with friends, travel, read books and listen to music! I’m looking forward to meeting you all in summer, until then:)!
