Helloooo new biology students!! We are Migle, Stefan and Fabian, the mentors of THE VIPERS!! From the 17th until the 23rd of August, we will guide you through your very first week at Radboud University. During intro week, we’ll show you everything there is to know about studying Biology, surviving campus life, discovering the amazing city of Nijmegen, and of course the best places to party, dance, and make unforgettable memories.

Starting university in a new place can feel exciting, overwhelming, and maybe even a little scary, especially for internationals, but we promise you that intro week will be the perfect way to settle in, meet loads of new people, and start your student life the right way. We already know all the ins and outs of Nijmegen, and we are more than ready to share them with you ;)

A bit more about us:

Hiii little Vipers!! I’m Migle, one of your intro mentors and currently a third-year Biology student following the medical biology track. I came to the Netherlands all the way from Lithuania, so I know exactly how scary and isolating moving abroad can feel at first. But trust me, intro week changes everything. It’s the perfect chance to get used to Dutch culture, make new friends, and create memories you’ll keep for years. We guarantee you a super fun, chaotic, and unforgettable week together. By now, we know Nijmegen inside out and most importantly… we definitely know how to party ;) I seriously cannot wait to welcome all of you into our little Viper family!!

Hellllooo Vipers!! I’m Stefan, probably your wisest and most experienced mentor. I did my bachelor’s in Biology here at Radboud and I’m currently finishing up my master’s. I originally came here from Estonia, and honestly, moving to Nijmegen was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Was it scary at first? Absolutely. Did I doubt myself? For sure. But joining my intro group years ago completely changed that for me. I met people during intro who are still some of my closest friends today, and I truly believe your intro week can do the same for you. Together with Fabian and Migle, I’m beyond excited to show you around Radboud, help you become proper little Viper biologists, and of course PARTY-PARTY-PARTY because that’s what your mentors do best.

VIPEEERS!! My name is Fabian, I’m a second-year Biology student, and together with Stefan and Migle I’ll be one of your intro parents this year. I grew up in Arnhem, just across the river from Nijmegen (an overloper as we say in Dutch), but Nijmegen has completely become my home. I’m also the only Dutchie mentor in the Vipers group, so for all the internationals: I’m always down to teach you some Dutch words and maybe even how to pronounce the legendary number 67 . The reason I became an intro mentor this year is because I still remember how amazing my own intro week was. Meeting new people, exploring student life, discovering the nightlife of Nijmegen, and starting this whole new chapter together made it one of the best experiences ever. I’m super excited to share that same experience with all of you and make this the best possible start to your student lives!!
