Bumblebees

Hii little bumblebees, we are Gijs, Laura and wouter and we will be your mentors during the orientation week! To give you an idea of who we are, we will shortly introduce ourselves:

Hello, i'm Gijs! I am now a third year Biology student and 20 years old. I still live in Oss, a small city next to Nijmegen. Just as my fellow intro parents I love going out and having an amazing time in the city with friends from Biology!! I am always in for an evening at the TKB (the best place to party in Nijmegen!!!) Next to the time I spend at the university and in the greenhouse, I enjoy spending time with friends doing whatever. Going to the terrace, seeing a movie or doing groceries and eating together, I am in for it all!! I have had the best time during my own intro week and hope to let you experience an unforgettable week as well!! I am really looking forward to meeting you all and letting you get to know Nijmegen and the study of Biology! Just as Wouter and Laura I am an active member of BeeVee, the amazing study association of Biology. In BeeVee lots of fun activities are organised to spend time with your fellow biologists!

Hii, my name is Laura and I will be one of your mentors during the orientation week! Im 20 years old and soon I’ll be a second year Biology student. I live nearby Nijmegen in Heveadorp, a very small village next to Arnhem. Besides from studying and being an active BeeVee member, I like to spend time with my friends going on walks, grabbing a coffee or playing a round of tennis. Of course I also always enjoy a good party (which we plan of having a lot during the orientation week!). I am really excited to get to know you all and show you all the best places in Nijmegen! I hope you’re going to have an orientation week that is just as amazing as mine was last year!

My name is Wouter, I will be one of your mentors coming introweek. To tell you a bit about myself, I am 21 years old and a 2nd year biologist (following the Human Biology trajectory). Apart from (trying) to succeed at studying, I work at a sauna, Thermen Berendonck. Next to this, I am the current General Board Member of BeeVee (our study association). In the time I have left (which is rare) I like working out in the gym, going to a terrace with my friends, or watching a series (DEXTER!!). If you ever lose me in the city centre, the chances are 100% that you’ll find me in TKB. I am really looking forward to to get to know all of you, and to show you our lovely city Nijmegen, aswell as get you acquainted with BeeVee (the best beta association).
