Siene van Lier - Chairman

My name is Siene van Lier and I will be your chair this year! I am currently a second year biologist. I’ve been active within BeeVee ever since I started studying biology! I’ve been a member of FYC for two years already: last year as a kiddo and this year as a supervisor. I am also a member of DIAFRAGMA! I love traveling, drawing, taking pictures & video’s and dancing.

I am looking forward to chair the board meetings and GMMs this year, and I hope to see you all join us at our weekly Biologists Evening!

Machiel Weistra - Secretary

Hello everyone, my name is Machiel Weistra, I am 20 years old and in my second year of my bachelor's degree. I am following courses in the Neurobiology and the Human Biology trajectories and also some electives in Political Science as an extra interest of mine. Besides spending my time on BeeVee I also like to play the piano, especially Chopin and Rachmaninoff. Also, if you are interested in playing a game of chess or draughts at one of the borrels, feel free to approach me. As I am an International Master (MI) in draughts, you can guess my preference.

Krista Estrada Derks - Treasurer

Hi everyone! My name is Krista Estrada and I am this year’s treasurer of BeeVee. I am currently in the second year of my bachelor's degree and I am interested in the microbiology side of it all. Besides managing the monetary flow, I’m also a member of DIAFRAGMA, so you can find me running around with a camera at activities. Together with Fernanda, I am one of the first international members of a BeeVee board! Even though I come from Guatemala, I am half dutch.

Eline Broekhuis - Commissioner Education and Study materials

Hi! I'm Eline Broekhuis and I am the Commissioner of Education and Study materials. I am 20 years old and in the second year of my bachelor's degree following the human biology trajectory with some Neurobiology courses as well. I am quite busy within BeeVee as I am a member of ABO, SPIn and DIAFRAGMA, so you have a good chance of spotting me at BeeVee activities with a camera.

In my free time I like watching dumb but very entertaining reality tv-shows, playing hockey and hanging out with friends.

Sterre Daas - Commissioner external relations

I’m Sterre, a second year biologist. I’m also a member of Symci and have been quite active in BeeVee ever since I started studying biology. I’ll try to make sure BeeVee will remain in good contact with our sponsors and get many more sponsor opportunities. I’m excited to take over Jasper's role and hopefully, I will do a good job.

My hobbies are painting, skateboarding and dancing. I hope you will join me busting out moves on bioevening.

I'm Fernanda Ormel, one of the Commisioners Internal Relations for the 38th board. I am 20 years old and a second year Biologist. I am following the Human Biology trajectory and hope to one day work abroad. I am also a member of DIAFRAGMA so you will see me around taking pictures at events!

A little about myself outside of BeeVee, I really enjoy travelling and having a nice evening with friends. I am really looking forward to this year as board!

Marije Kamp - Commissioner internal relations 2

Hello everyone! My name is Marije Kamp and I am one of the commissioners internal relations of Beevee. I am 20 years old and in my second year of my bachelors following the medical track. I enjoy being active in BeeVee and you will often see me enjoying the activities with my friends while most likely having some drinks. Next to that I enjoy horseriding, watching Netflix series and also try to do some studying. I am really looking forward to this year as board!
